Hi. I’m Satine Berntsen! I’m a Norwegian-American Filmmaker/Artist with a background in film and philosophy. I write, direct, and edit narrative film and tv, along with a spattering of other art forms.

My Services
Editing
Average: USD$30-50/hour | NOK 300-500/hour
Need an editor? I specialize in narrative content, short or long form. That said, I’m open to most editing work. Reach out and I’ll probably accept. I have my own editing suite but am open to traveling to another suite.
I work in both DaVinci Resolve and Adobe Premiere.
Directing

Need a director? I specialize in narrative drama and genre films, but, once again, am open to plenty. I have a masters degree in film production and have a broad wealth of knowledge to bring to each project I direct. Pitch me your story and show me your script! I’d love to read it and start an analysis.
I direct in Norway and the US but am open to travel.

Need a writer? I specialize in dramas, romances, and queer stories of all sorts in many mediums. My philosophy background helps me dig into deeper themes and expand your world with intricate and beautiful concepts. Pitch me your story idea, no matter the medium. I’d love to delve into it!
